How Delivery & Pickup Scheduling Works

Once activated in the General settings, the plugin operates by integrating a Switcher onto the checkout page, allowing customers to toggle between “Delivery” and “Pickup” options.

It introduces both a datepicker and a timepicker field. Customers can select their preferred date using the calendar within the date picker field and also choose a desired time using the time picker field.

Furthermore, it offers the flexibility to designate both of these fields as required or to disable either one of them.

If a customer switches their order to “Delivery,” all “local pickup” shipping methods are eliminated. Conversely, when they opt for “Pickup,” ONLY the “local pickup” shipping methods are made available again.
